Raindance have announced they are looking for new and emerging online video creators to take part in a new event, StreaMART, supported by Creative Skillset, which takes place as part of Web Fest on the mornings of 25th to 27th Septemberat the Mayfair Hotel in central London.

A UK first, StreaMART has been designed to fill a current skills and knowledge gap for filmmakers, screenwriters and creators to meet, network and learn from industry experts representing video platforms, MCNS, commissioners, content distributors and co-production partners from companies such as YouTube, Film4 Digital, New Form Digital, Videojug Networks, Channelflip, BBC Comedy, Victorious, dailymotion, Maker Studios, Endemol Beyond and many more.

On each morning session, invited creative talent will get the chance to sit down with each of the expert guests and find out more about how commissioning, audience development, financing and distribution works for the digital video business. Applications to attend StreaMART open today and are open to creators and filmmakers who are UK residents and are in active development on online video projects such as web series or YouTube channels.

StreaMART is part of Raindance Web Fest which takes place during the Raindance Film Festival and will feature a packed schedule of web series screenings, industry panel discussions and the only awards ceremony in the UK dedicated to independent digital series. Panels will cover subjects ranging from commissioning through to digital series monetisation and more.
