Short film - The Devil Makes Work

This British short offers to us the Devil's thoughts on humanity. A mere seven minutes long, Guy Soulsby has Shaun Dooley as a (literally) smouldering Lucifer set against a grim urban background, sitting on a throne of tires. Sadly, while The Devil Makes Work is beautifully shot, against a riot of vibrant colours and fantastic effects, the dialogue struggles to be heard. This is such a shame because it's so obvious that Soulsby has considered every aspect of his film in minute detail. For the substance to be lost amongst the glamour doesn't allow The Devil Makes Work to really shine - or burn - as it should.
