News - Cruise to the Prom 2016

Held annually on the Beach Lawns in Weston super Mare, the 8th charity event Cruise to the Prom at the end of May is lining up to be the biggest year yet....



With the combined forces of two local clubs, Der Blitzen Sphincters and Kerbside Kustoms, this promises to be the biggest Volkswagen charity exhibition in the UK as a large number of Volkswagens, Audis and Porsches are set to descend on Weston super Mare seafront on Sunday 29th May for one of the premier events in the VW calendar.



Starting on the outskirts of town all the vehicles will, as the title of the show says, Cruise to the Prom in a marshalled cavalcade from 10:15 am before parking up on the Beach Lawns at approximately 11:15 where they will be entered into the Show & Shine event, where “no matter whether it’s a 50 year old Bug or 2 year old T5” they will be judged by a mix of Event sponsors and members of the public to win the Show & Shine Coolest Display trophy. And with more traders and vendors than in any previous year there will be plenty to entertain everyone in the family.
