#NotBaconBits - From the Jackson 5 to...
Yes it's still Sunday and yes we're publishing 7 days a week now! So, yesterday we played Doctor My Eyes by the Jackson 5 and Steve Taylor-Bryant suggests today's #NotBaconBits link...
As always for #NotBaconBits, once you've listened to today's choice, we're looking for your suggestions for tomorrow's track. Join in by tweeting us @albiemediaAM with the #NotBaconBits hashtag or adding your suggestions in the comments of our #NotBaconBits Facebook posts - remember the link can be as simple or contrived as you want, in any music genre (it doesn't have to be classical or pop) and you can link to anything about the song - the title, the artist, words in the song, something about the video ... anything as long as you can justify it. If we pick your suggestion for the link, you'll get the credit in that day's article and shout outs on our social networking streams.
Here's today's connection from Steve. "Doctor my Eyes took me to Dr Feelgood who recorded Milk and Alcohol [I like alcohol - Ed] in 1978. Another hit in 1978 was from the film Grease [I like a fry up - Ed,] which hit No 1 in the U.K. charts, with Summer Nights (yes, and I like summer, now shut up - Steve.) Donna Summer sang No More Tears which links back nicely to eyes, but let's stay with Tears... and Fears... it's a Mad World.
