Film - Golden Raspberry Award Winners

The Winners of the 37th Annual Golden Raspberry (Razzie) awards have been announced...

So Batman vs Superman did... erm... well? at the Razzie awards scooping 4 of the 8 awards it was nominated for, including Worst Picture. It should count itself lucky that it was in some of the same categories as Hillary's America: The Secret History of the Democratic Party though, which also took 4 awards.  Since there are only 9 nominated awards altogether, this is pretty good going - Zoolander 2 got the other one, with Kirsten Wiig being voted Worst Supporting Actress.

And the properly coveted award of the night, the Razzie Redeemer, which is given to a previous Razzie nominee who actually managed to do something really good for a change, went to the superb Mel Gibson for his Direction of Hacksaw Ridge.

The Razzies, in case you don't know, are "a light-hearted parody of award shows in general (and The Oscars in particular)" and awards for the WORST rather than best in a wide range of film categories have been presented on the eve of the Academy Awards every year since 1980, making this the 37th event.
