Neil Gardner is a bit of an audio guru, being the brains behind an award winning spoken word production company. But sometimes he likes to retreat from the digital studio to listen to some music analogue style, on vinyl. This time he worships at the altar of Flamingods....

Side A: Mixed Blessings is a terrific toe tapping tympanic treat bursting with multi-layered vocals and sick electro-beats. Synth pop stylings garnished with cracking cowbell reminiscent of Erasure and Thomson Twins. Tribal party vibes bring a magnificent musical morass to dancing life.

Side B: Kewali is a laid back blissed out 60s psychedelic magical music treat that slaps a smile across your face. Take a Jefferson Airplane road trip through Middle Eastern grooves, vocal harmonies build to an insistent driving melodious finale.
