Vinyl SotD - Thee MVPs
Neil Gardner is a bit of an audio guru, being the brains behind an award winning spoken word production company. But sometimes he likes to retreat from the digital studio to listen to some music analogue style, on vinyl. This time he goes for a Sesh with Thee MVPs ...
Format: 7″ Black Vinyl
Side A – Sesh: a deep low register lo-fi indie stomper full of hard as nails attitude and a cavalcade of thumping instrumentation. Twangy off-tune guitar mesmerizes whilst the catastrophic bassline takes no prisoners. A street-level staccato vocal tops this anthemic polemic.
Side B – Fosser: A&E aggressive heart monitor musical mayhem. Doctors in DMs as Nurse Ratchett tightens the raw chord screws. Vocals page from passionate PAs…a call to arms and legs and torsos! Swirly flighty guitar and rhythmic pumping bass revive the soul of modern indie music by channelling a revitilising adrenaline shot of RATM DNA.
Finyl Thought: Bleep bleep bleep goes the indie heart monitor…louder and louder it sounds…do you get it yet?!
