Film - The Golden Raspberry Awards

In case you missed it, the world's most coveted movie awards were handed out over the weekend. No, not The Oscars... THE RAZZIES! Here's the full list of "winners"...

"In a Year When Everything Sucked..."

...the Sia helmed, and much misguided, film Music sucked even more than everything else going on in 2020, garnering THREE Razzies - for Kate Hudson as Worst Actress, Maddie Ziegler as Worst Supporting Actress and for Sia herself as Worst Director. It missed out on the hard-fought title of Worst Picture though, which went to Absolute Proof, which also picked up the Worst Actor award for The "My Pillow Guy" performance of Mike Lindell in the faux documentary which reputedly cost only $25,000 to make, and lost its maker about $65 million in cancelled business. Who said "no publicity is bad publicity?"

Another double award went to the inestimable Rudi Giuliani for his "cameo" as himself in Borat, Subsequent Movie-Film, picking up both Worst Supporting Actor and Worst Screen Combo (Giuliani and His Pants Zipper).

Instead of a Razzie Redeemer award this year, it was deemed necessary to present a Special Governors' Award instead to the whole of 2020 as “THE WORST CALENDAR YEAR EVER!” [OK, who said "Hold my planner"? Was that you, 2021? - Ed]
