What if Beethoven had a Death Metal band that enjoyed magic mushrooms and jazz and just funking out? That’s pretty much the best I can do and I’ve had three decades to think about it! It’s quite simple though, you’ll love them or you will absolutely hate them. There is no middle ground with Mr. Bungle, no meh with them either, it’s full on experimental nutjobbery (you have to invent words to talk about Mr. Bungle) and it’s relentless in its pursuit of your inner being where it will fester and slowly drive you crazy.

All the songs on Mr. Bungle are so unique and loved by me it’s very hard to pick a favourite, what can I let you have a snippet of to tempt you down the fucked up rabbit hole with me? How about an insane video that is about as visually divisive as the songs are?
