Last year Steve Taylor-Bryant delved into the unknown as he broke down twelve seasons of Supernatural into 13 Top 5 articles. Then he caught up and finally did Season 14 and now he’s pulled his finger out and finished the final Top 5 of the Supernatural run, Season 15…

So, we pick up where we left off. Quick recap – God is a dick, has a personal problem with Sam and Dean wanting to control their own lives and in retribution has undone all their good work over the last 15 years and now the world has gone to shit. I’ll grab the popcorn, you guys go catch up…
That Chuck, ha ha he’s a card isn’t he? Anyway the majority of Season 15, the final Supernatural (until the spinoff’s, reboots etc) is really solid, some epic arc related Winchesters versus God stuff, some great side stories, some returning faces, and some weighty moments. It also got hampered by a worldwide pandemic but still managed, under covid restrictions, to give us a final episode that brings a lump to the throat. However, it would be wrong to mention the final episode in the same breath as the rest of the series because it just doesn’t fit with what was finished pre-pandemic, however it gets a slot in my top 5 because how can it not?
5 – Episode 20: Carry On
Bobby Singer: That kid of yours, before he went... wherever, made some changes here. Busted my ass. And then, he... Well, he set some things right. Tore down all the walls up here. Heaven ain't just reliving your golden oldies anymore. It's what it always should have been. Everyone happy. Everyone together. Rufus lives about 5 miles that way - with Aretha. Thought she'd have better taste. And your mom and dad... they got a place over yonder. It ain't just Heaven, Dean. It's the Heaven you deserve. And we've been waiting for you.
After Chuck is defeated and someone takes his place, Sam and Dean go about their life of hunting, but things don't turn out as expected. Bobby reunites with one of the brothers, while the other raises a son and grows old. But eventually the Winchesters meet each other again.
4 – Episode 8: Our Father, Who Aren't in Heaven
Castiel: Do you remember me?
Michael: You called me "ass-butt" and set me on fire. And then you helped send me to hell.
Sam, Dean and Castiel's continued search for a way to defeat Chuck leads them to unexpected places and toward unlikely allies.
3 – Episode 14: Last Holiday
Dean Winchester: Dude, we fought the Devil, okay? I've killed Hitler. I think we can handle a few old pipes.
The Winchesters inadvertently release a wood nymph that served the Men of Letters back in the 50s. She takes on a new mission to serve Sam and Dean as the new Men, but they're unaware that she considers Jack a monster - and will do anything to protect her new charges.
2 – Episode 1: Back and to the Future
Belphegor: There we were, minding our own business, you know, flaying people for eternity, like you do, right?
Picking up where we left off last season, Sam, Dean and Castiel are left to defend the world after all the souls in hell have been released and are back on Earth and free to kill again.
1 – Episode 13: Destiny’s Child
Anael: So you want me to be on your side... against God?
Dean Winchester: I mean, we are better-looking.
A search for the one thing that may give the Winchesters an edge against God leads Sam and Dean to Jo's door and to a secret that may have died with Ruby. Meanwhile, Castiel asks Jack to do the unthinkable to help the brothers in their quest.
